IRB pull a FIFA – Double Standards Continue
IRB head of referees Paddy O’Brien is reported to be saying he believes there should be a greater use of technology in rugby.
This call comes after O’Brien cited a forward pass during the build-up of Richie McCaw’s crucial try in the All Blacks’ victory over the Springboks last Saturday.

New Zealand are treated differently by referees to either of their Tri-Nations opponents… and it’s Official!
Peter Bills in his IOL article reports that the statistics from the first five games of this year’s competition show a staggering difference in the ratio of penalties per yellow card for each of the tri nations teams.
