Clueless Bok Selectors At It Again

Published on August 25, 2010 By joesox

On the face of it, this is a good bok team. But dig a little bit deeper and you’ll see that all is not as it’s cracked up to be. You just have to look at the backline to see that the boks brains trust are in fact in over their heads.

Steyn Pays To Play For Boks

Published on August 16, 2010 By joesox

France-based Springbok Francois Steyn has broken his silence and rejected suggestions that he no longer wants to play for his country. Poor communication between the Steyn’s club, Racing Metro, and the South African camp prompted Springbok coach Peter de Villiers to question the 23-year-old’s motivation to play in the green and gold.

Patrick Lambie Is A Must For the Boks End Of Year Tour

Published on August 5, 2010 By joesox

South African rugby needs a special kind of player to come along in a World Cup year. Frans Steyn did it in 2007, and this year, mark my words, Patrick Lambie is the go to guy. I have been over impressed with this youngsters steely determination to just get the job done. When I first [...]

Boks Missing Frans Steyn

Published on July 24, 2010 By joesox

Its pretty clear when watching the boks lately that they are missing the massive talents of Francois Steyn. At only 23 years old, Steyn has already amassed an impressive 36 Test Caps and a World Cup winners medal. He has the most prodigious boot on the planet, is solid under the high ball and in [...]

Time To Shake Up The Springboks Brains Trust

Published on July 24, 2010 By joesox

As an avid Springbok supporter, it pains me to see the drivel we have had dished up on three consecutive weekends. Whilst we are not getting any favours from the refereeing fraternity (it will be interesting to see the bans handed out after the Springbok Aussie clash) it is clear the Springboks have no real [...]
